The Concept of Therapy and Sounds?

Ikaria

Ikaria is a mythological archetype.

She soars high and is a symbol of knowledge,
courage and awareness. Ikaria is said to have within herself the four elements of fire, earth, water and air which enables her deep insights despite not having eyes. Ikaria is the courage of women, mothers, daughters who hold up history to change and improve it from generation to generation with tenacity, courage and dignity, often invisible but strong, visionary and revolutionary.

The hands which grasps Ikaria’s ankle will never again restrain her path to freedom. It is this which Therapy and Sounds wishes for you, through services like Integrative Psychotherapy, Sound Bath Therapy, Coaching and Sharing Circles.

Sound Bath Therapy

Sound has been supporting us and improving health since the beginning of time. Rhythm harmonises brainwave frequencies, slowing them down to relax, by absorbing the vibrations of sounds bowls. This immersive experience offers a chance to relax and rejuvenate as the vibrations release tension, quiet the mind and promote a sense of calm.

Sound ‘healing’ is said to occur in a holistic way as each bowl has its own frequency. Each particular frequency acts in order to aid the absence of fear, guilt and negative energy. Other bowls resonate to assist in transformation, relationships and connection, spirituality, expression and solutions.
